For the third consecutive year, this village near Barcelona (Spain), Santa Susanna, will host the European Championships, organized directly by the EBFF and in which it hopes to overcome the records of participation achieved in previous editions. The Championships will be in May, from 4th to 8th, in an environment that athletes and fans know perfectly, since the village has hosted more than a dozen of international competitions, thanks to its strong relationship with the IFBB according the sports promotion developed by its representatives, as former mayor, Mr. Joan Campolier (IFBB Patron as well). Last year, 42 of the 45 European countries, were represented at Santa Susanna and more than 1,000 athletes and officials took part in the Championships; figures which are expected to exceed this year 2016.
