  2. Men’s Bodybuilding
The most exciting category seems to be up to 90 kg class, with 2013 world classic bodybuilding champion Viktor Simkin (Russia) turning to extreme bodybuilding and having former European Championships classic bodybuilding overall winner Tomas Tabaciar (Slovakia) as his most demanding opponent. Tabaciar moved to extreme bodybuilding a bit earlier, winning 2015 Olympia Amateur in Prague and finished 3rd at the latest European Championships. Two former top classic bodybuilding stars fighting finally in extreme bodybuilding. Extreme emotions guaranteed! And 2016 Arnold Amateur USA finalist Samir Troudi (Sweden) is not going to miss this battle.

In the super-heavyweight class we will see 2015 World Championships finalist and Olympia Prague runner-up Ivan Vodyanov (Russia) and, maybe the biggest sensation, Hungarian star Béla Kökény who won every title in other organizations, including the Worlds overall title,  and – after two-year break – will debut in the IFBB. Experienced Czech star Radek Čejka will be the next big player in this super category.

The recent European Championships bronze medal winner Karol Stuglik (Ireland) will have a chance to grasp the title in the 100 kg category while the bronze medal winner from 2015 European Championships Rafal Domin (Poland) seems to be a favourite in 75 kg category.

The latest European Championship runner-up and 2016 World Championships finalist Jacek Ratusznik (Poland) is the biggest star entered in classic bodybuilding.

    Women’s Bikini-Fitness
The tall class, over 169 cm, is packed with the stars. The current European champion Saskia Cakoci (Slovakia) will come just after her great victory in Santa Susanna, where she also placed 2nd in the overall. The next Slovak international star Veronika Gulasova will also be there. There will also be Helga Stibi (Ireland) who placed 4th in Santa Susanna. Why not to be more lucky in Žilina? Shirley Van Den Bos (Netherlands) who proved last year that she is ready to win any international contests.

Similar situation with Reet Reimets (Estonia) in 169 cm category: 12th place in Santa Susanna but she managed to advance to the finals of  the 2014 World Championships and won two bronze medals at the former continental championships. She will meet two demanding Lithuanian stars: Rasa Selemonavičiūtė and Kristina Narbutaitytė (2014 World Cup winner). In 160 cm class former European Championships runner-up Iveta Kuglerova will meet the latest European Championships finalist Erika Tarkulicova (both of Slovakia).

In Women’s Bodyfitness tall class, 2016 Arnold USA runner-up Nikolett Vasvári (Hungary) will be challenged by the current European Championships bronze medal winner Lucia Kosecka (Slovakia) and Greek star Aikaterini Megalou (2015 Arnold Europe and Olympia Amateur Europe finalist). The next European Championships bronze medal winner, Renata Marcinkutė (Lithuania) will try to dominate the short class up to 163 cm.

Each of the Men’s Physique category will have its own superstar. In up to 170 cm class it will be the current European Championships runner-up Renatas Suleimanovas (Lithuania). Abdullah Alali of Kuwait is the next well-known competitor and his main challenger.Fourth place winner in Santa Susanna last weekend Dániel Tulok (Hungary) will try to win the 174 cm class but the biggest men’s physique star will appear in the 178 cm category. Maxime Parisi (France) was the runner-up at two big IFBB international events: 2015 World Championships in Budapest and 2015 Arnold Classic Europe in Madrid. The next well-known competitor in this class is finalist of many international events Petter Orvik Gronningsater of Norway. In the over 178 cm category there are more candidates for the final victory. The best-known one is 2015 Arnold Europe runner-up Valentino Soekh (Netherlands) but Jaani Inkinen (Finland), Ondřej Kmošťák and Viktor Minář (both of the Czech Republic) took places in the finals of big international events. Altogether. 17 competitors in this class and every solution is possible.
